Every year at the MKS dance concerts there is a table near the entrance loaded with flowers that will be lavished upon dancers at the end of the show. It’s a physical symbol that families and friends can share with their dancers to say ‘I’m proud of you.’ Every year, Miss Michelle reaches out to studio families to find someone who wants to sell the flowers to support a worthy cause. This year, not only are there flowers available, but also custom-painted pointe shoes that have been hanging in the MKS lobby. And the hope is that the sale of these items will propel twelve-year-old MKS dancer Erica Penney to the mountains of Estado Puebla to share the gospel with unreached peoples.

On July 29th Erica will embark on a journey of over 1,800 miles with a team of 24 other Christ followers, including her parents and two brothers, from Lifepoint Church, O’Fallon. Once there the team will reunite with a local church partner, Aposento Alto. Together the international team will set out to share the gospel in the local towns and surrounding mountain villages. The 2016 team brought the gospel to 8 previously unreached people groups.

Every dollar spent in celebrating your special dancer has the power to change someone’s eternal destiny. Flowers will be available for purchase at the event if you missed the opportunity to pre-order.

How can people have faith in the Lord and ask him to save them, if they have never heard about him? And how can they hear, unless someone tells them? – Romans 10:14
